Domains
Register, transfer, DNS records and email setup.
Register a domain
- Go to Domains βΊ Search & buy.
- Search for a name and pick an ending (.com, .ng, .co.uk and many more). The yearly price shows for each.
- Pay from your wallet. WHOIS privacy is free and on by default, and auto-renew keeps the domain yours.
Transfer a domain in
- At your current registrar: unlock the domain and get its transfer (EPP/auth) code.
- Go to Domains βΊ Transfer in, enter the domain and code, and pay. A transfer adds a year to the registration.
- Approve any email your old registrar sends. Most transfers complete in 5 to 7 days.
Managing a domain
Open a domain to see its tabs:
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Overview | Expiry date, auto-renew, lock status and a health check of website and email records. |
| Advanced DNS | Add, edit and delete A, AAAA, ALIAS, CNAME, MX, TXT, CAA, SRV and NS records; set up redirects; change nameservers; restore an earlier version if something breaks. |
| One-click records for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, Proton or our free business email. | |
| Website | Point the domain at one of your Social Boost Lab websites. |
| Transfer & sharing | Get a transfer code to move away, or move the domain to another Social Boost Lab account. |
| Activity | A history of every change. |
Set up Google Workspace, Zoho or Microsoft 365
- Open the domain βΊ Email and pick your provider (and region for Zoho).
- Follow the numbered steps and paste the verification code your provider gives you.
- Press Preview changes. We show exactly which records are added, changed or removed.
- Confirm. The records are applied; your provider usually verifies within minutes.
Moving a domain away
- To another registrar: Transfer & sharing βΊ Request transfer code. We unlock the domain and send the code, usually within one working day.
- To another Social Boost Lab account: Transfer & sharing βΊ Move to another account. They accept it under Domains βΊ Incoming. Remove any website or business email from it first.
Registry rules don't allow a domain to be transferred within 60 days of registering or transferring it.
