Refund Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026 5 min read

The short version

  • When something we charged for fails, we refund your wallet automatically: undelivered social orders, network-rejected SMS, failed domain registrations and transfers, and unused Lead Finder budgets.
  • You can ask us to review any purchase within 7 days by emailing support.
  • Unused money you added can be returned to your original payment method if you ask within 90 days of adding it. Only payment fees we can't get back are deducted.
  • Work that is already done can't be refunded, for example delivered orders, sent messages, completed domain registrations and AI requests.

This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.

1. How refunds work

All purchases are paid from your Social Boost Lab wallet. Most refunds go back to that wallet straight away, so you can use the money again immediately. You get a notification each time, and the refund shows in Wallet β€Ί Transactions. If you'd rather have your money back where it came from, see section 5.

2. Automatic refunds

You don't need to ask for these. The wallet is credited as soon as our system confirms the problem:

ServiceRefunded automatically when…
Social media growthAn order fails or is cancelled (the undelivered part is refunded), or is only partly delivered (the shortfall is refunded).
Bulk SMSThe mobile network rejects a message.
DomainsA registration or incoming transfer fails, or a transfer is cancelled before it completes.
WebsitesA domain you paid to connect to a website can't be connected, or you switch plans (unused days of the old plan are credited).
Lead FinderA search uses less than the budget held for it (the rest is returned as soon as it finishes).
AI website builderNothing to refund: you're only charged after a request produces a result, for what it actually used.

3. What can't be refunded

  • Delivered social growth. Engagement that was delivered, including when the platform later removes some of it. Where a service includes refill cover, use the Refill button on the order within the cover period instead.
  • Messages that were sent. Emails, SMS and WhatsApp messages the network or mailbox provider accepted, even if the recipient didn't read them, has Do-Not-Disturb turned on, or had their phone switched off.
  • Completed domain work. Registrations, renewals, transfers and restorations once completed, because the registry fee can't be recovered. You keep the domain for the full period.
  • Time already used. Website plans, custom-domain fees and WhatsApp numbers for a period that has already started. You can turn off renewal at any time and keep the service until the end of the period.
  • AI requests that produced a result, and Lead Finder searches for the part of the budget that was used.
  • Orders placed with a wrong link or username, or for a private profile, once delivery has started.
  • Promotional or bonus credit.

4. Asking us to review a purchase

If you think a purchase went wrong (for example an order is stuck or not as described), email support@socialboostlab.com within 7 days of the purchase, with the order or transaction reference from Wallet β€Ί Transactions. Tell us what went wrong. We reply within 2 working days. If we agree, the amount goes back to your wallet.

5. Getting your unused balance back

If you added money but no longer need it, you can ask for the unused amount to be returned:

  • Email support@socialboostlab.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Wallet refund request", within 90 days of the deposit.
  • We return it to the original payment method (the same card or account). Crypto payments are returned in the same coin to an address you give us, at the value of the unused balance when we process it.
  • We deduct only the payment provider or network fees we can't get back. We tell you the exact amount before we send it.
  • We aim to process requests within 10 working days. Your bank or provider may take a few more days to show it.
  • After 90 days, or if the original payment method can't receive refunds, the balance stays in your wallet to use on any service. We'll help find another way where the law requires it.
To protect against fraud and money laundering, we may ask you to verify your identity before sending money back, and we can't send refunds to a different person or to a different card or account.

6. Your legal rights

If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital services. Because our services start as soon as you ask for them, you agree that they begin immediately and you lose the right to cancel once a service has been fully provided. For a service that's only partly provided when you cancel, we refund the part not yet provided. Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (Nigeria).

7. Accounts closed for misuse and chargebacks

If an account is closed for a serious breach of the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy (such as fraud, phishing or spam), we may use the balance to cover the losses, fines and costs the breach caused, and refund anything left, as far as the law allows. If you open a chargeback with your bank, please also contact us: chargebacks for amounts we've already refunded or delivered may lead to the account being paused.
