1. Scope
This policy covers content hosted on Social Boost Lab, such as customer websites, online stores, images, and messages sent through our services. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices under UK law, the EU Digital Services Act, the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Nigeria's Copyright Act 2022.
2. How to report infringement
Email support@socialboostlab.com with the subject "Copyright notice" (or "Trademark notice") and include:
- Your name, address, phone and email, and who you represent if you're acting for the rights owner.
- A description of the work or trademark you say is infringed, with a link or copy if you can.
- The exact web address(es) of the content on our platform, or for a message, its sender and date.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).
3. What we do
We review each complete notice, usually within 2 working days. If it's valid, we remove or disable the content and tell the customer who published it, sending them a copy of the notice (with your contact details, as the DMCA requires) so they can respond. We may ask for more information if a notice is incomplete.
4. Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, or you have permission to use it, send a counter-notice to the same address with:
- Your name, address, phone and email.
- The content that was removed and where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, if you live outside the USA, any place where we can be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We forward valid counter-notices to the person who reported the content. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 working days that they've started court action, we may restore the content.
5. Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of customers who are the subject of repeated valid notices.
6. Other reports
To report illegal content, phishing, spam or abuse that isn't about intellectual property, email support@socialboostlab.com with the subject "Abuse report". See also our Acceptable Use Policy.
