How do sender IDs get approved?
Submit a name (1–11 alphanumeric characters) from the Sender IDs page. We register it with Africa's Talking immediately, and their carriers review it — typically within 24–48 hours. Status syncs automatically; you can track PENDING → APPROVED in real time.
How is SMS pricing calculated?
Price = message units × per-unit rate × recipients. One unit is a 160-character GSM-7 message (70 for Unicode); longer messages split into 153/67-char segments. Your staff set the per-country rate in the admin — no deploys needed.
What does domain authentication involve?
Tell us your domain and registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare…). We create the Amazon SES identity, generate the TXT + DKIM CNAME records, show provider-specific steps, and verify automatically once your DNS propagates.
What happens to bounces and complaints?
Amazon SES notifies us via signed webhooks. Hard bounces and complaints are added to your suppression list automatically and never emailed again — protecting your sender reputation.
Can I schedule campaigns?
Yes — pick a future date/time on any campaign form. A Celery Beat worker claims it at the right moment, and you can pause or cancel any campaign before it finishes.
